Rabat: Orientation, Arrival and Transport
Rabat is by no means a big city. With its Medina and Ville Nouvelle bounded by the city walls and the river, all the monuments and points of interest in the city are within an easy walking distance.
Petits and grands taxis for inner-city transport can be found by the train station or on the central Boulevard Hassan II. Local buses are very efficient and useful, with both bus stops and buses clearly marked.
Arrival in Rabat
The Rabat bus station is located in Place Zerkouni, some 3 kilometers away from the city centre.
From here, you can either take a bus – numbers: #30, #17 or #41 – or hire a petit taxi to get you into town.
