Midelt: Orientation, Arrival and Transport

Orientation in Midelt is straightforward: the town is really small and consists of no more than one street, Avenue Mohammed V in the north which becomes Avenue Hassan II to the south. All the restaurants, cafes and transport lines are to be found around this main road.

Getting There and Away – Transport to Midelt

The bus station is at the centre of town, just off Avenue Mohammed V. CTM services run mostly at night, with evening departures to Casablanca via Rabat and to Rissani via Er Rachidia and Erfoud. There are also night-time services to Azrou, Meknes and Fez.

Private bus companies cover the same routes at more sociable hours, with Fez serviced through 6 departures a day. There are also extra services to Sefrou.

The grand taxi lot is just behind the bus station, on Avenue Moulay Abdallah. There are regular services to Azrou, Fez, Meknes, Er Rachidia and Khenifra.
