This used to be the Grand Hotel in the Spanish colonial times.

Although it is clean and retains some of its elegance, the décor and bathroom fittings are faded and decayed.

A range of rooms with or without bathroom are available. However, note that street noise can be a real problem due to thin glazing, so ask for a room on the second-floor overlooking the square.
