Hotel Smara is a small hotel in Essaouira that’s popular with tourists looking for a cheap spot.

The hotel offers small rooms with shared bathrooms, but not much character. In winter, it’s worth to pay extra for the front rooms with a sea view as the other rooms without a view can get damp and cold. The roof terrace, affording the best views over the Medina and the ocean is a bonus.
