Asilah Hotels: Reviews of Hotels in Asilah, Morocco
Asilah has a dozen or so pensions and hotels, located in the new part of town. This decent, and rather uninspiring selection, provides ample space for accommodation in town, even during the high season.
However, during the Asilah festival, the town is flooded with visitors so it’s advisable to book well in advance.
Hotel Zelis is a mid-range, locally-run hotel that has a range of comfortable, modern rooms with a tasteful decor. Only a few steps from the Medina gates, Hotel Zelis is one of the best centrally-located hotels for service and amenities.
Hotel Al Khaima is on the outskirts of Asilah, a 20 minute stroll from the centre of town. Built around a large pool and garden, it has bright and airy rooms with a decidedly modern look and decent amenities including a bar, restaurant and lounge.
Hotel Patio de la Luna is a newly redecorated hotel just outside the Medina. Despite its small size, this Spanish-run place is probably the only option with any local character in Asilah. There’s a lovely leafy patio, simple rustic rooms with wooden furniture and some amazing views over the town from the terrace.
Small and charming guesthouse at the entrance of town. Eight rooms and suites blending traditional Arabo-Hispanic architecture with modern creature comforts. Two cosy dining rooms and warm terraces with panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean.
One of the best budget options in town, within a walking distance from the beach and the Medina. Spacious and bright rooms in tasteful décor and decent amenities. Family-friendly larger suites available. Facilities include a bureau de change, secured parking and car rental.
